The December 2009 Indonesian Earthquake Relief Benefit at The Church of St John the Divine was a great success....also a very beautiful event with many diverse artists including headliners the Busy Island Gamelan Orchestra. A slide show of the event can be seen here.

Jon Miller and quartet saxophonist Roy Styffe played with JMQ bassist James Young's quintet, unveiling Young's new suite, "The Bassment Wanderer." The group also featured Ivan Illief on piano and Lorae Farrel on trumpet.
July 2009
The July Montreal show at Diese Onze jazz club was a great debut for the "quartet east:" Jon Gearey (7 string guitar) Kate Wyatt (piano) Adrian Vedady (bass). Adrian Vadady has a great new CD "In Three Acts."
